US Copyright Law, Chapter 1

Although I did not have time to use Hellekson and Busse's bibliography, I thought I would post it here for reference.

  1. I thought this blog project was very good overall. It has covered some very interesting information about fanfiction. I really knew nothing about fanfiction other than it is read by one of my coworkers, so I have learned a great deal from Jessica's blog.

She had a first blog that drew me in and I wanted to figure out where she was going with it. Then there was a very nice introduction and in the rest of her blog she explored important things regarding fanfiction. The sources she has drawn from were really interesting and I found my self reading them as well, especially Henry Jenkins.

The only suggestion I have would be to include more information on the sources in each post. I see that in this last post she has included more sources. I am new to this blog thing, so maybe that is how it is usually done for this type of project. When I first started my blog I definitely didn't do very well on my first couple of posts, and didn't learn some things about how a blog works until the very end.

I really enjoyed reading Jessica's blog about fanfiction. The title and each individual posts titles were interesting. The blog overall was not overwelming and yet I felt like it covered a lot of very important information about her topic.
